Course Content Menu

The Course Content menu is located on the left side of the page. Use this menu to access the content included in WHY HOMEOWNERSHIP MATTERS – FREE LESSON 1.

Click the dropdown arrow next to a module to expand it and access the content within that section.

Module Introduction

The Module Introduction provides an overview of what you’ll learn in that section.

You can:

  • Click the video image to watch the introduction
  • Read the information in the Overview section below the video

To begin, select Lesson 1 from the Course Content menu. Then click the video at the top of the lesson page to start the teaching.

Below the lesson video, you’ll find three tabs to help you get the most from the lesson.

Click the Exercise File tab to download the Workbook chapter for this lesson.

The Workbook includes the information covered in the lesson. You can save it to your computer or print it to:

  • Highlight important points
  • Take notes
  • Record your Rent Escape Calculator results

Rent Escape Calculator

You’ll find the Rent Escape Calculator in the Course Content menu under Module 1.

Open the calculator and enter your personalized information to estimate how much you’ve already paid in rent and how much you could pay in the years ahead.

You can adjust your monthly rent, estimated annual rent increase, or number of years to see how each change affects your results.

Record your final results in your downloadable Workbook chapter before leaving the calculator.
